Who can apply

Ugandan nationals are eligible as applicants from a developing state. Applicants must be 25–45, hold at least a first university degree, work as a mid-level official or professional in a relevant field, demonstrate advanced research ability, and have strong English.

Funding and support provided

Fully funded: monthly stipend, economy airfare, medical insurance and book allowance. Fellows arrange housing using the stipend.

Ugandan mid-career government officials and professionals working in ocean affairs, fisheries, inland-water governance, maritime transport, environmental law, marine science or related international-water frameworks.
