Who can apply

Ugandan grassroots organisations, civil-society groups, community educators, coalitions, artists and youth movements with prior civic-engagement experience. Projects must meaningfully use at least one Pulitzer Center-supported journalism project.

Free application; propose a community-engagement project. Reporting-only projects, lobbying, political campaigns and for-profit projects are excluded.

Projects assessed for community relevance, feasibility, civic engagement and use of Pulitzer-supported journalism.
