Applicants need at least a 180-ECTS-equivalent bachelor\'s degree in pure or applied science from a recognised institution, with sufficient prior study in chemistry, physics and mathematics. The official page does not publish a country exclusion for Ugandan applicants.
IMATEC is an Erasmus Mundus master\'s combining circular-economy technology with management training. Applications for the 2027–2029 cohort will run from 1 December 2026 to 31 January 2027.
Benefits
The top 21 selected applicants receive participation-cost coverage and a €1,400 monthly allowance. Four additional applicants from partner countries receive tuition fee waivers; admitted applicants must pay an 800 CZK foreign-education recognition fee where applicable.
Requirements
Applicants need a relevant bachelor\'s degree with at least the equivalent of 20 ECTS in chemistry, five ECTS in physics and five ECTS in mathematics. Required materials include transcripts, English proof at B2+ level, a motivation video or letter, CV, medical assessment form, passport copy and the programme Excel file.
How to apply
Submit the online application to the University of Chemistry and Technology Prague and upload the required documents. Complete the programme Excel file and email it to the stated IMATEC address before the deadline.
