IFAD says applicants must be 30 years old or younger, enrolled in an accredited university or graduate school with at least two years of undergraduate study completed, or have completed university studies within the last 24 months, and be fluent in English. The enhanced internship option is open to candidates who meet the criteria and are not based in Rome.
IFAD offers six-month internship opportunities for recent graduates and current students in fields relevant to its mission. The programme includes a monthly allowance, and enhanced interns from developing countries may receive housing and travel support.
Benefits
Monthly allowance; enhanced internship offers additional housing and travel allowance for eligible interns from developing countries.
Requirements
Applicants must be 30 or younger, meet IFAD’s study-status or recent-graduate criteria, and be fluent in English. Some postings may require additional language skills.
How to apply
Create a profile through IFAD’s apply process and submit an application for the internship programme when a suitable opening is available.
