Full opportunity detailsOpen to nationals of an ADB borrowing member country who have gained admission to an approved master’s course at a designated institution; Uganda is an ADB borrowing member country.
The ADB-Japan Scholarship Program funds graduate study in economics, business and management, science and technology, and other development-related fields. Ugandan nationals are eligible if they meet the ADB and host-institution requirements.
Benefits
Full tuition fees, monthly subsistence allowance including housing, books and instructional materials, medical insurance, travel expenses, and in some cases a special grant for thesis preparation.
Requirements
Must be a national of an ADB borrowing member country, have admission to an approved master’s course at a designated institution, hold a bachelor’s degree with a superior academic record, have at least two years of full-time professional work experience, and have proficiency in English.
How to apply
Request information and application forms from a chosen designated institution, apply for admission there, and submit the institution application form plus the ADB-JSP application sheet to the institution.
