Researchers of any nationality who meet the doctoral-degree, host-professor, research-mobility and cyber-defence project requirements specified for the fellowship.
Funded postdoctoral research programme in cyber defence offering salary and dedicated research and conference resources for up to two years.
Benefits
Funding provides a contribution toward the fellow\'s salary, including applicable social-security costs, according to the host institution\'s salary scale. The fellowship also provides up to CHF 3,000 per year for research expenses and up to CHF 5,000 per year for conference expenses. Distinguished Postdoctoral Fellowships may be funded for up to two years.
Requirements
Applicants must propose an eligible postdoctoral research project, satisfy the doctoral qualification and research-mobility conditions and identify an appropriate Swiss academic host. Application materials must be submitted in English through EPFL\'s online submission platform. Candidates progressing to Stage Two must obtain the required host-professor endorsement and provide the detailed project information required for final evaluation.
How to apply
Review the updated 15th-call guidelines and toolkit when the call opens and submit Stage One through the EPFL online platform by the deadline. Shortlisted candidates then complete Stage Two, including the required Swiss professor endorsement and expanded research proposal.
