Applicants from all nationalities, including Uganda, may apply with a Bachelor of Science or Engineering equivalent to at least 180 ECTS and the academic standard required by the consortium. Relevant backgrounds include mechanical engineering, materials science and engineering and certain related engineering fields with substantial university-level mathematics.
META 4.0 trains engineers in intelligent, digital and sustainable manufacturing, including simulation, advanced manufacturing, digitalisation and Industry 4.0 technologies. Students study across a European consortium and can follow a Digital Manufacturing specialisation connected to NTNU.
Benefits
Erasmus Mundus scholarship holders have tuition and mandatory participation costs covered and receive monthly support toward subsistence, travel and accommodation, together with programme insurance under the applicable scholarship terms. Consortium scholarships may also reduce or waive tuition. Students seeking to remain in Norway after the joint programme should confirm UDI eligibility based on their final degree and Norwegian study-residence history.
Requirements
Applicants must document the qualifying engineering or science bachelor\'s degree, grades and required mathematics background and submit the academic, identity, English-language, motivation and other documents specified by the programme. Shortlisted applicants may be interviewed in English.
