Full opportunity detailsInternational applicants including Ugandans may apply with a bachelor\'s degree in bioinformatics or a comparable discipline. Applicants must demonstrate C1 English and sufficient prior study in mathematics, computer science, bioinformatics and life sciences.
This programme combines computer science, mathematics and life sciences for advanced work in genomics, molecular biology and computational biomedical research. Students benefit from Saarland\'s Center for Bioinformatics and related research institutes.
Benefits
The programme charges no tuition; students pay the university\'s semester contribution. Graduates may apply for Germany\'s up-to-18-month post-study job-search residence permit and may work while looking for qualified employment.
Requirements
Applicants need the qualifying degree and transcripts, evidence of the required mathematics, computing, bioinformatics and life-science coursework, accepted C1 English evidence and a motivation or justification letter addressing suitability for the programme.
