An existing business is not mandatory; candidates may apply with an agricultural problem, market opportunity, enterprise idea or early-stage initiative. Participants need sufficient English and must be able to commit five to seven hours weekly.

Fellows receive live online instruction, practical weekly assignments, mentorship, a dedicated fellowship portal, AfCFTA and regional agrifood-market training and support to develop a tested enterprise or market-expansion concept. The two strongest completed capstones receive additional funding support, although the provider does not publish a fixed cash amount.

Applicants provide personal and location information, education and current-work background and details of their agricultural idea, enterprise, market problem or early-stage initiative. Shortlisted applicants participate in an online interview. Fellows must meet attendance, assignment and capstone requirements for certification.
How to apply
