Applicants from Uganda and other countries may apply; the programme does not impose a nationality restriction. Candidates need at least three years of higher education in speech and language pathology, linguistics with at least 60 ECTS of general linguistics, biomedical sciences, psychology, special education or another qualifying background, together with high English proficiency.
EMCL is a research-intensive Erasmus Mundus Master\'s in clinical linguistics, neurolinguistics and psycholinguistics. Students undertake structured mobility between three European universities and receive preparation for research, doctoral study and careers in areas such as neurotechnology and clinical language sciences.
Benefits
Erasmus Mundus scholarship recipients receive a full tuition waiver and EUR 1,400 per month for up to 24 months to contribute toward travel, visa, installation, insurance and subsistence costs. The programme also provides EACEA-compliant insurance coverage. A limited number of self-funded places are available.
Requirements
Applicants submit the completed EMCL application form, qualifying degree and transcripts, English-language evidence and programme-specific documentation demonstrating the required academic background. Linguistics applicants must document the required general-linguistics coursework.

Access the EMCL application system after it opens on 2026-10-01, complete the application and indicate scholarship consideration where requested. Upload all required academic, language and supporting documentation and submit before 2026-12-01.
