Applicants from all countries, including Uganda, are eligible. Candidates need a good first-cycle degree in Mathematics, Physics, Economics, Statistical Sciences, Information Technology or Engineering, certified English proficiency of at least CEFR B2 and adequate academic preparation assessed through academic merit, curriculum vitae and the programme\'s selection process. Previous Erasmus Mundus Joint Master scholarship recipients cannot receive another EMJM scholarship.
GrEnFIn trains Sustainable Energy Experts to address energy-transition, climate and environmental challenges through quantitative, economic, financial and technological approaches. The programme awards a multiple Master\'s degree through three European universities.
Benefits
Erasmus Mundus scholarship holders receive full coverage of programme participation and tuition costs plus EUR 1,400 per month during both academic years. The monthly allowance is intended to support living, travel, visa, installation and mobility expenses. Students also gain access to consortium research, internship, research-assistantship and Master\'s-thesis opportunities.
Requirements
Applicants must prepare a valid passport or identity document, bachelor\'s degree certificate, academic transcripts, the programme\'s ISCED classification template, certified B2-or-higher English evidence, Europass-formatted experience information and the admissions materials specified for the 2027-2028 call. Scholarship selection also considers academic performance, professional and extracurricular experience, motivation, English ability and a recommendation letter.
How to apply
Review the 2027-2028 call and scholarship rules, prepare the required academic, identity and English-language documents and complete the official GrEnFIn application process. Submit the application by 2027-01-07 and select Erasmus Mundus scholarship consideration as part of the application.
