Who can apply
Ugandan citizens and people with refugee status granted by Uganda who are permanently resident in Uganda may apply through an approved nominating body. Applicants normally need at least a 2:1 bachelor’s degree, or a 2:2 plus a relevant postgraduate qualification, must be unable to afford UK study without the award, and must be available to begin study in September 2027.

- Full tuition, approved return airfare, and monthly living allowance (currently £1,712 outside London or £2,000 in London), plus eligible study travel and disability support.

- Eligible one-year taught Master’s courses at participating UK universities under the CSC development themes. MBA study is not funded.

FULLY FUNDED | UGANDA ELIGIBLE. A flagship UK scholarship for applicants whose proposed Master’s study can contribute to Uganda’s development. Apply through an eligible nominating route and separately meet the university’s admission requirements.
