Full opportunity detailsThe Roddenberry Foundation states that the Catalyst Fund can make grants to anyone, anywhere in the world, which includes Ugandan citizens and Uganda-based applicants. Proposed work should be an idea or early-stage project that presents an unconventional way of understanding or addressing a problem and is at a stage where Catalyst funding can meaningfully advance it.
The Catalyst Fund supports bold early-stage ideas and projects that challenge conventional thinking about social and environmental problems. Applications are open to people and projects from anywhere in the world.
Benefits
Selected projects receive Catalyst Fund grants ranging from USD 2,500 to USD 15,000. Funding is intended to help applicants develop, test or advance early-stage work that challenges conventional approaches and demonstrates meaningful potential for impact.
Requirements
Applicants must provide information about the problem being addressed, the proposed idea or early-stage project, why the approach challenges conventional thinking, the people involved and how the requested grant would help advance the work. The complete application must be submitted through the Foundation\'s official online portal.
How to apply
Create an account in the Roddenberry Foundation application system, open the Catalyst Fund application, complete the required applicant, project and funding sections and submit the proposal electronically through the official portal.
