Ugandan citizens can apply subject to UK immigration rules. Applicants establishing a new business must obtain endorsement from an approved Innovator Founder endorsing body, demonstrate an active key role in developing the business, meet the required English-language standard and satisfy the route\'s financial, identity and suitability requirements.

About this opportunity

The Innovator Founder route allows international entrepreneurs to establish and operate innovative businesses in the United Kingdom. New-business applicants must obtain endorsement confirming that their proposal is innovative, viable and scalable.

Benefits
The visa permits the founder to establish and work in the endorsed business in the United Kingdom and may allow qualifying work outside the business under route conditions. Eligible partners and children can accompany the founder. Innovator Founders can potentially qualify for indefinite leave to remain after three years if they meet the continuous-residence, endorsement and business-success requirements.

Requirements
Applicants need a valid passport or travel document, an endorsement letter from an approved body, evidence satisfying the English-language requirement, maintenance evidence where required and any applicable tuberculosis-testing, identity and immigration documentation.

Complete the online visa application, upload the required supporting documents, pay the applicable immigration charges and complete the identity or biometric process directed by UK Visas and Immigration.
