Full opportunity detailsUgandan citizens qualify as non-EU/non-EEA applicants. Applicants need a Bachelor of Science or equivalent in Agricultural Sciences, Biology or a sufficiently related discipline and must satisfy the programme\'s subject-specific preparation requirements.
An English-taught two-year agricultural master\'s focused on crop health, plant diseases, pests, weeds and scientifically based crop-protection solutions. It is intended for graduates seeking research and professional careers in agriculture and plant protection.
Benefits
The programme is offered at a public German university without general tuition fees. Students pay semester fees and fund accommodation, living costs, insurance, travel and visa requirements themselves. The programme provides specialised training in phytomedicine, plant health and sustainable crop protection.
Requirements
Applicants must demonstrate the programme\'s required prior credits in relevant plant and agricultural sciences, including crop-production, plant-breeding or plant-nutrition preparation and phytomedicine-related study where specified. A recognised bachelor\'s qualification, academic transcript, English-language proof and all Faculty of Agricultural Sciences application documents are required.
How to apply
Submit the online application to the University of Göttingen Faculty of Agricultural Sciences between 1 December 2026 and 1 March 2027. Prepare the required degree and transcript documentation, language evidence and subject-relevance documents and upload them through the official application system before the deadline.
