Full opportunity detailsUgandan applicants qualify under the non-EU/non-EEA application window. Applicants need a bachelor\'s degree of at least three years in Agriculture or an appropriate related field from an accredited institution. Applicants with other related degrees must demonstrate at least 60 ECTS or equivalent in agricultural, plant, animal, forestry or natural sciences, mathematics, statistics or computer science.
An English-taught agricultural master\'s focused on modern plant and animal breeding, quantitative genetics, breeding informatics, biotechnology and experimental design. It is particularly relevant to agriculture, animal science, crop science and related graduates.
Benefits
The University of Göttingen does not generally charge tuition for this consecutive master\'s programme. Students pay semester fees and must fund living, accommodation, insurance, travel and visa costs. The programme provides specialist breeding, quantitative-genetics and breeding-informatics training.
Requirements
Applicants must submit bachelor\'s degree and transcript evidence establishing the required academic background, proof of English proficiency when English is not the applicant\'s first language and the further documents listed in the programme\'s admission instructions. Accepted English evidence includes recognised tests such as TOEFL or IELTS under the programme rules.
