A recognised bachelor\'s or equivalent degree of at least 180 ECTS is required in Economic and Social History, Contemporary History, Economics, Business Administration, Sociology, Political Science or a closely related field. Applicants normally need at least 150 ECTS completed at application.
An interdisciplinary master\'s combining economic and social history with economics, business, sociology and political science. It examines the historical development of markets, companies, consumption and the global economy.
Benefits
University of Göttingen generally charges no tuition for this consecutive master\'s programme. Students pay semester fees and finance their own living expenses, insurance, visa and travel. The programme can be studied using English and German course offerings, although the availability of English courses can vary.
Requirements
Applicants need degree or current academic evidence, transcript establishing the relevance of previous studies and the programme\'s required language proficiency in English or German. The selection process includes assessment of the written application and may include a personal interview. All required documents must be uploaded by the application deadline.
