Ugandan citizens are eligible because Uganda is a WTO Member. Applicants must have completed relevant undergraduate studies and satisfy the programme\'s postgraduate-enrolment or recent-graduate conditions. Candidates must be at least 21 years old.

The WTO Internship Programme gives postgraduate students and recent advanced-degree graduates professional experience in international trade and WTO operations. Assignments may involve trade policy, economics, law, statistics, communications, administration and specialist Secretariat functions.
Benefits
Interns receive CHF 60 per day, including weekends and official holidays occurring during the internship, for placements lasting up to six months. Travel to and from Geneva is not funded by the standard programme, and interns must maintain health insurance meeting Swiss requirements.
Requirements
Applicants must complete the WTO online candidate profile and provide education, qualifications and professional information demonstrating academic preparation relevant to WTO work. Individual divisions may seek additional specialist skills.
