International applicants, including Ugandans, must meet the programme\'s education and leadership requirements and be aged 20–25 on 1 July 2027. At least one university year must be completed. Applicants no longer enrolled must be eligible 2025 or 2026 graduates.

The institute brings young leaders together for training in leadership, cooperation and peacebuilding. Participants develop cross-cultural relationships and approaches to conflict resolution.
