Africa-specific. Ugandan university faculty may apply if they are early-career scholars, generally with fewer than ten years of university teaching, currently employed by an African institution and formally endorsed by their home university. Discipline-specific tracks and current call rules apply.

About this opportunity
Fully supported University of Michigan research residency for early-career African faculty, including airfare, private housing, insurance, stipend and research funds. Dependants are not covered. Affordability: A for the fellow. Opens 15 August and closes 15 October 2026. Ugandan faculty are explicitly within the eligible region.
