Schwarzman Scholars is a one-year master\'s programme at Tsinghua University designed for emerging global leaders. The programme combines graduate study, leadership development, cultural immersion and access to a global network in Beijing.
Benefits
The programme covers tuition and fees, room and board, required travel to and from Beijing at the beginning and end of the academic year, an in-country study tour, required course books and supplies, a laptop, health insurance and a personal stipend. Scholars also participate in leadership programming, mentoring, cultural immersion, career development and the Schwarzman Scholars global network.
Requirements
Submit the online application in English with the required biographical profile, resume or CV, academic transcripts, leadership essay, statement of purpose, short-answer responses and recommendation letters. A one-minute video introduction is strongly recommended by the programme but is not mandatory. Applicants who are not exempt must provide an accepted English-language test score and must disclose the academic, employment and other information requested in the application.
How to apply
Create an account in the Schwarzman Scholars application portal, complete the U.S./Global application, arrange for recommenders to submit their letters, upload the required academic and written materials, and submit before the deadline. Applicants should complete the eligibility checker and review the current application instructions before final submission.
