Citizens and residents of all countries may apply. Applicants must separately apply to and be accepted by an eligible full-time Stanford graduate degree. For the 2027 cohort, most applicants must have earned, or expect to earn, their first bachelor’s degree in January 2020 or later; an extended window applies to eligible military service.

Knight-Hennessy Scholars develops a multidisciplinary community of Stanford graduate students and provides funding for eligible graduate study. Applicants submit both the Knight-Hennessy application and the relevant Stanford graduate programme application.
