Applicants of all nationalities, including Ugandans, may apply. Candidates must complete a recognised bachelor\'s degree before the programme begins and meet the academic, English-language and journalism or media-related selection requirements.

The Erasmus Mundus Master’s in Journalism, Media and Globalisation combines journalism, media and globalisation studies across several European universities. The 2027–2029 call opens on 1 November 2026, with Erasmus Mundus scholarships available to applicants of all nationalities.

Benefits
The scholarship provides a full tuition waiver, €1,400 per month for up to 24 months and health and liability insurance. The programme expects to award approximately 10 to 15 Erasmus Mundus scholarships per intake.

Applicants need a recognised bachelor\'s qualification, above-average academic performance and the required application materials, including academic records, an academic reference and the programme\'s application reflections. Relevant journalism or media experience contributes to scholarship assessment.
