About this opportunity
Program overview and application information
This five-day technical bootcamp helps government teams move AI-enabled public-administration initiatives from concept or pilot toward implementation. Selected teams learn from Korean public-sector AI systems, complete hands-on technical work and produce an implementation roadmap with World Bank and Korean experts.
Benefits
The programme covers the five-day bootcamp, international travel and accommodation for the two selected team members, official invitation letters and visa-facilitation support, interpretation, site visits, technical workshops, coding exercises, expert engagement and development of an implementation roadmap. Some teams may later receive limited technical follow-up through remote advisory or possible in-country support, but the programme states that no direct post-bootcamp financial support is provided.
Requirements
Submit an English-language proposal describing the public-sector challenge, proposed AI solution, technical and data readiness, institutional support, implementation risks, learning objectives and planned next steps. At least one document proving institutional backing is required, such as a senior-leadership mandate or endorsement, documented budget allocation, inter-agency agreement, or cabinet or ministerial decision. Relevant diagrams, policy documents and budget commitments may also be attached.
How to apply
Submit the proposal through the official submission form linked from the World Bank GovTech page by the deadline. Nominate exactly two eligible government participants, attach the required institutional-backing evidence and complete all proposal questions. Selected teams must attend the full five-day bootcamp and later submit the required implementation roadmap.
