The U.S./Global application is open to applicants of all nationalities, including Ugandans. Applicants must be at least 18 and under 29 years of age on August 1, 2027, and must have completed an undergraduate degree before August 1, 2027. Applicants from any academic field may apply. Applicants whose native language is not English must meet the programme\'s English-proficiency requirement unless they qualify for an exemption based on at least two years of undergraduate or graduate study taught in English.

Schwarzman Scholars is a one-year master\'s programme at Tsinghua University designed for emerging global leaders. The programme combines graduate study, leadership development, cultural immersion and access to a global network in Beijing.

Requirements
Submit the online application in English with the required biographical profile, resume or CV, academic transcripts, leadership essay, statement of purpose, short-answer responses and recommendation letters. A one-minute video introduction is strongly recommended by the programme but is not mandatory. Applicants who are not exempt must provide an accepted English-language test score and must disclose the academic, employment and other information requested in the application.
