The programme is open to international students including Ugandans. It primarily targets physics graduates but also considers mathematics and engineering graduates with strong foundations in fundamental physics and the mathematical tools used in advanced physics.

General Physics provides broad advanced preparation across high-energy physics, cosmology, quantum physics, statistical physics, soft matter and condensed matter. The English-taught curriculum supports progression to specialised second-year master\'s study and doctoral research.

Benefits
Eligible non-EU students may receive Paris-Saclay\'s partial non-EU fee exemption under university conditions. Selected international Master\'s students may receive €10,000 per year plus up to €900 for travel and visa costs. Graduates may apply for France\'s one-year post-study job-search or business-creation permit.

Requirements
Applicants submit academic documentation and motivation material and must demonstrate a strong physics and mathematics background. The application system may request additional identity, transcript, reference or prior-learning documents.
