Ugandan and other international applicants may apply subject to the programme\'s academic admission requirements. A suitable bachelor\'s-level background in computer science or a closely related quantitative discipline and advanced English proficiency at CEFR C1 are required.

Visual Computing covers computer graphics, computer vision, image analysis and related visual technologies. It is designed for students seeking research, development or doctoral careers in advanced computing and visual systems.

Benefits
Saarland University lists no tuition fee for the programme; students pay the applicable semester contribution. Graduates may remain in Germany for up to 18 months after graduation to seek qualified employment and may work during the search period.
