Ugandan and other international applicants may apply with a bachelor\'s degree equivalent to at least 180 ECTS in computer science, informatics or a closely related field. Applicants need strong preparation in mathematics, theoretical and practical computer science, machine learning and artificial intelligence, and English proficiency at CEFR C1.

A research-oriented master\'s covering data science, machine learning, artificial intelligence, big data and data management. Students study within the Saarland Informatics Campus and its major computer-science research environment.

Benefits
Saarland University charges no tuition for this programme; students pay the applicable semester contribution. Graduates of German universities may apply for a residence permit for up to 18 months to seek qualified employment and may work while searching before changing to an eligible skilled-worker permit or EU Blue Card.

Requirements
Applicants must provide academic records showing the required prior coursework, accepted proof of C1 English, a personal statement and two academic recommendation letters, together with the documents requested by the Saarland Informatics Campus application system.
