Ugandan citizens resident in Uganda are explicitly eligible. Applicants must hold a recognised bachelor\'s degree awarded before September 2025, normally have at least two years of relevant professional experience, demonstrate financial need and development impact, and commit to returning home after study.

The University of Manchester Equity and Merit Scholarships support academically strong professionals from selected African countries, including Uganda, to undertake selected postgraduate programmes.

Benefits
