International applicants, including Ugandan citizens, may apply for the 2027-2029 cohort. Candidates must possess an appropriate bachelor\'s degree or equivalent background relevant to chemistry, physics, materials science, pharmaceutical sciences, engineering or a closely related field and satisfy the programme\'s academic and English-language requirements.

BIOPHAM is an interdisciplinary European Master\'s focused on materials science for biological and pharmaceutical applications. Students study advanced materials, characterisation and pharmaceutical applications across multiple European universities.

Benefits
Selected applicants may receive Erasmus Mundus scholarship support and scholarship holders are admitted under the programme\'s funded Erasmus Mundus framework. Scholarship support is designed to contribute toward participation, mobility, travel, visa, installation and living expenses according to the current Erasmus Mundus award conditions.

Requirements
Applicants must complete the electronic BIOPHAM application and provide identity information, academic qualifications and transcripts, curriculum vitae, motivation, English-language evidence and other documents specified by the consortium. Competitive candidates may be invited to an interview in March 2027.
