Applicants from all countries, including Uganda, are eligible for Erasmus Mundus scholarship consideration if they satisfy the programme\'s academic requirements. Applicants must hold an appropriate bachelor\'s degree or equivalent preparation for graduate economics study and meet the programme\'s economics, quantitative and English-language prerequisites. Previous Erasmus Mundus Joint Master scholarship holders cannot receive another EMJM scholarship.

EPOG-JM is an Erasmus Mundus Master\'s in economics focused on digital, socioeconomic and ecological transformations using pluralist and interdisciplinary approaches. The programme links universities and research partners across Europe, Africa and other regions.

Benefits
Erasmus Mundus scholars receive a complete tuition-fee waiver, health and accident insurance and EUR 1,400 per month for up to 24 months. Approximately 20 Erasmus Mundus scholarships are available per Master\'s cohort. Non-scholarship students with personal income below EUR 26,400 per year generally qualify for substantially subsidised tuition of EUR 1,000 per year.

Requirements
Applicants complete the electronic EPOG application and provide degree certificates, academic records, evidence of quantitative and economics preparation, English-language evidence, CV, motivation and other supporting information required in the portal. Pre-selected applicants attend an online interview.

How to apply
Complete the EPOG online application when the 2027-2029 portal opens in October 2026. The same application is used for programme admission and Erasmus Mundus scholarship consideration. Submit all required materials by 2027-01-29 at 13:00 Paris time.
