About this opportunity

Program overview and application information

The Francophone Community Immigration Pilot helps participating Francophone-minority communities outside Quebec recruit qualified French-speaking workers. Eligible candidates can obtain permanent residence after securing designated employment and a community recommendation.

Benefits
Successful applicants receive Canadian permanent residence. Eligible applicants who have submitted their permanent-residence application can apply for a two-year employer-specific work permit while the case is processed, and an eligible spouse or common-law partner may apply for an open work permit.

Requirements
Applicants need a qualifying designated-employer job offer, community recommendation, approved French-language results, education documents or an Educational Credential Assessment, qualifying work-experience evidence where required, settlement-fund evidence and the identity, police and medical documentation required by IRCC.

How to apply
Identify a participating Francophone community and designated employer, obtain a qualifying job offer and secure the community\'s recommendation. Submit the permanent-residence application online through IRCC and, if eligible, submit the separate optional work-permit application.
