Benefits
University of Hamburg does not charge general tuition fees. Students pay the semester contribution and finance accommodation, living costs, health insurance, visa and travel. The programme provides advanced cross-disciplinary preparation in mathematics and physics.

Requirements
Applicants must submit a motivation letter of about one page in English, CV in English, bachelor\'s certificate and complete transcript, lists of relevant mathematics and theoretical-physics modules and credits, and proof of English proficiency. Accepted English evidence includes at least CEFR B2, IELTS 5.0, TOEFL iBT 72, recognised Cambridge certificates or a qualifying English-taught bachelor\'s degree. Applicants should have strong preparation in quantum mechanics and advanced mathematics.
