Ugandan citizens and people with refugee status granted by Uganda who are permanently resident in Uganda may apply through an approved nominating body. Applicants normally need at least a 2:1 bachelor’s degree, or a 2:2 plus a relevant postgraduate qualification, must be unable to afford UK study without the award, and must be available to begin study in September 2027.
