Candidates must first be preselected by a participating Québec university or eligible network before the final Fonds de recherche du Québec submission; local preselection deadlines are earlier.

FUNDED RESEARCH | GLOBAL | MULTIPLE LEVELS. PBEEE is especially valuable because the award combines a stipend with a Québec international tuition-fee exemption. Start with the host university’s internal competition—its preselection deadline may be weeks or months before the final 2 December FRQ deadline. Admission, translation, test and relocation costs may remain.
