Award value or coverage detailsCurrent published support is HKD 344,400 annual stipend plus HKD 14,400 annual conference and research-related travel allowance for up to three years; 2027–28 rates may be adjusted. Participating universities may support a fourth year.
Eligible courses or study areasFull-time PhD programmes at CityU, HKBU, Lingnan, CUHK, Education University, PolyU, HKUST and the University of Hong Kong.

FULLY FUNDED PHD | GLOBAL. Submit the initial HKPFS application to obtain a reference number, then apply to up to two programmes at participating universities by their deadlines. The central deadline is 1 December 2026 Hong Kong time; individual universities may require earlier completion. Application, transcript, English-test, visa and travel costs may remain.
