Eligible Ugandan NGOs, civil-society organizations and academic institutions may apply for projects within the foundation\'s geographic and thematic scope. Religious bodies cannot apply directly. Projects should demonstrate local leadership and practical benefit.

The foundation supports locally led conservation, food and health initiatives in eligible developing regions. Applications begin with a concept submission before invited full proposals.

Benefits
Most grants are expected to range from USD 25,000 to USD 50,000 annually, generally for one or two years.

Requirements
An organizational concept application describing the proposed project and requested funding. Selected organizations must subsequently submit the foundation\'s full proposal and supporting information.

How to apply
Create an account through the official portal link; non-U.S. organizations use Tax ID 12-1234567. Select Apply and enter CFHgrants. Submit one concept application during a published annual window: 15 October–22 December or 1 May–15 June; confirm the active cycle in the portal.
